Minimum entry requirements

The table below outlines the minimum entry requirements for the different types of courses we offer.

Entry requirements are a guide to the level of education required to study each course. If a course requires additional qualifications or evidence of suitability (e.g. a portfolio) this will be stated on the course description page. Please note, all courses require an application review meeting. This is a chance for us to talk through your choice of choice and ensure it's right for you.

Changes to GCSE grades

English and maths GCSE grades received in 2017 and after use the new grading scale. The numbers 9–1 identify levels of performance (with 9 being the top level). To reach the minimum entry requirement of a grade C, students will need to achieve a grade 4 on the new grading scale.

All GCSE subjects are now graded this way.
