The MET organises a range of school liaison activities to help school leavers decide what to study following their GCSES.
Schools & colleges liaison service from the MET
We work in partnership with schools and careers advisers to organise a range of activities to help school leavers decide on their study options following their GCSEs. We pride ourselves on our high-quality, impartial advice to students.
As one of the top Further Education colleges in Sussex, we have helped thousands of students progress onto both further study and successful careers with our extensive range of study programmes and apprenticeships.
If you are a teacher, Head of Year or Careers Adviser, we can help you provide information, advice and guidance for school leavers through a number of different activities:
Attendance at your careers events, options and parents’ evenings - to ensure your students and their parents or carers get information on the full range of options available to them.
Our Open Evenings where students and their parents or carers can explore the college, experience the facilities and get a taste of student life.
If your school has a sixth form but does not offer qualifications in technical and professional subjects, we can advise on the wide-range of options available to your students.
If you would like to talk to us please contact Clare Barwick, our Schools & Colleges Liaison Officer via email or call on 07763 899677.
