Year 10 open events

Exclusive events for Year 10 students

Year 10 open events postponed

Thursday 17 June 2021

We are very sorry to inform you that our Year 10 open events, which were due to take place from 29 June to 7 July, have been postponed.

Earlier this week we had hoped that these events could continue despite the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, with suitable health & safety measures in place. However, with an exceptionally large number of people registered to attend our campuses and having spoken to the local authorities about the rising number of COVID-19 cases, we have taken the difficult decision not to proceed. This decision was taken in consultation with other colleges and schools in our local area who have also agreed to suspend any planned in-person events.

We understand that you may be disappointed, however, your safety and the safety of our staff and students must come first.

We are beginning to plan for our autumn term open events and will ensure there are plenty of opportunities for you to visit our campuses and experience everything GB MET has to offer. Details will be posted on our website over the summer.

Courses for September 2022 will be open to applications from September 2021 in line with the launch of our new prospectuses. In the interim, please feel free to browse our website to get an idea of the wide range of courses we offer and get a feel for our fantastic facilities.

Once again, we are sorry for any disappointment caused, but we look forward to welcoming you to our campuses in the autumn.
