Why this course?

Electrical wiring

This qualification is primarily aimed at practicing electricians with relevant experience and other allied professionals e.g. surveyors, consultants and other trades needing to update and enhance their understanding of IET Wiring Regulations.

It is also suitable for anyone wishing to demonstrate an understanding of the IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671. No formal entry requirements, but this is an essential qualification for those working in the electrical installation industry.

The 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations, which replaced Amendment 3 of the 17th Edition, is now live and must be complied with from 1st January 2019. 

The MET offers a six-evening, classroom-based course at our modern Construction and Trades Centre within our East Brighton Campus.
