Why this course?

Want to work in business? This Level 1 short course is a fantastic opportunity to develop business administration skills that are broadly transferable to any future work placements and employment.
Through engaging and practical tutorials, we give you the support and confidence to develop fundamental skills in business. Upon successful completion of the course, you'll receive an AAT Award in Business Skills.

Course fees
Course is free if you meet the following criteria
You may not have to pay any fees if you will be aged 19 or over when you begin this course and:
- You will be aged 19+ when the course begins
- AND you are in receipt of Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA) or Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
- OR you are receiving a means tested benefit, earning less than £617 per month (take home) if you are a sole claimant or £988 a month if you have a joint claim with your partner, and are completing the course to improve your employability
- OR if you are working and earn less than £20,319 annual gross salary
You will need to provide evidence and sign a declaration when you enrol.
Subsidised fees

This course is also free to those who are currently employed and earning less than £20,319 annual gross salary. You will be required to provide evidence of this in order to receive a fee waiver for this course.

- Last 3 months payslips
- Tax Credit notice (for self employed)
