Construction

You will learn about the construction industry and gain practical skills during this 4-week introduction.

The course will cover an introduction to carpentry, bricklaying and dry lining and prepare you for the CSCS card test. You will meet contractors and attend live working sites and gain a Level 1 Health & safety in a Construction Environment qualification.

Graphic design

A fun interactive course taught by creative media professionals covering the basics of InDesign and Photoshop. You will learn how to plan layouts and about typography, how to add QR codes and hyper-links to create interactive pdfs. The course enables you to create a portfolio of work or self-promotional materials e.g. business cards, eye catching CVs and more. On successful completion of the course you will receive two accredited qualifications - IT User skills Level 2 and Interactive Media Level 1. Applicants should be computer literate.
