Why this course?

This specialist games course allows students to explore and develop creativity within a stimulating environment, through a mix of practical and theoretical learning, supported by industry experts. You will study programming, learn logical problem solving and gain the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to progress to further study or employment in the fast-moving games industry.
This level 1 course provides an introduction to games development and design, you will study historical contextual units and develop your style through practical animation and design modules.
You will have the opportunity to work on real-life projects commissioned by internal and external clients.

Entry requirements
Start at Level 1 if you have at least 2 GCSEs at grade 2 (F) or above, including English or maths.
