Why this course?

Immerse yourself in this creative course and widen your knowledge of art and materials. The practical workshop sessions will be fun, inspirational and informative. Suitable for all abilities and for portfolio building.

The course includes drawing, painting and ceramics techniques through observational studies and landscape, colour, line and tone, water-based paints and mixed media, and the study of contemporary artists, art history and painting styles.

By the end of the course you will be able to show that you have used a variety of media to explore themes, illustrate a range of techniques, show that you are continuing to develop drawing painting and ceramic skills through observation and experimentation, and assess your progress  with the activities at an introductory or intermediate level.
