Aromatherapy candles

This short course will explore the benefits of aromatherapy essential oils. We will look at how essential oils can be used for conditions such as coughs, colds, hypertension, stress, insomnia, anxiety and depression.

This course will give you hands-on techniques to create your own blends in a traditional way as well as covering safety and dilution. We will look at aromatherapy for skincare and beauty and use a blend of oils within gentle massage. A practical and informative course.

Organic oils will be provided on this course. Please bring a small towel.

Course content

This short course will explore the benefits of aromatherapy essential oils. We will look at how essential oils can be used for conditions such as coughs, colds, hypertension, stress, insomnia, anxiety and depression.

This course will give you hands-on techniques in: 

  • Creating your own oil blends in a traditional way
  • Safety and dilution
  • Aromatherapy for skincare and beauty
  • Blending oils within gentle massage. 

Organic oils will be provided on this course. Please bring a small towel.

Conduct

You will be expected to present yourselves in a professional manner, be polite and courteous. You will attend college wearing a uniform, with your hair up, nails cut short and free from varnish, and strictly no jewellery or facial jewellery is allowed. You will be expected to arrive punctual and attend all classes. These are all requirements of the awarding body.
