Why this course?

On this short course you will learn about removing hair from intimate areas using various waxing techniques.

You will learn how to consult with the client, prepare for the waxing service and produce a treatment plan.

In addition, you will learn how to provide treatment advice, particularly around the avoidance of certain activities and home care advice. 

You must have (or be working towards) a Level 2 beauty qualification.

Students are required to maintain effective health, safety and hygiene procedures, and demonstrate a professional and ethical approach throughout.

Our beauty department has fantastic facilities that will provide you with a real-world training and learning experience.

These include professional beauty and hairdressing salons that are open to the general public, providing a realistic working environment.

We also offer the use of high end, industry branded equipment and products, plus additional training from external companies, such as Eve Taylor.


Course content

This one day short course is specific to hair removal from intimate areas using different waxing techniques.

The course will cover client consultation, treatment recommendations and after care advice.

You will practice preparing for the treatment and learn about effective health, safety and hygiene procedures.
