Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Travel & Tourism
This qualification is aimed at those already working in the travel industy who wish to gain a qualification or those seeking to start a career in travel services.
Course aims and areasThis Apprenticeship framework will equip new and existing staff with the skills, knowledge and experience needed to undertake Sales & Telesales roles, enabling the workforce to make businesses more productive, efficient and profitable.
The Intermediate Level is suitable for those who currently work or are being recruited to work in roles such as Trainee Sales Advisor, Sales Consultants, Telesales Operator and Junior Sales Executive. The training provides an introduction to the sales process and allows learners to specialise in their chosen areas of interest such as preparing and delivering a sales demonstration and generating and qualifying sales leads. Functional Skills may be required dependant on Apprenticeship framework and previous qualifications achieved.

Wages vary depending on the type of apprenticeship but there is a national minimum wage (NMW) in the UK which applies to all 16-18 year olds and to those aged 19 or over in the first year of their studies.
