Support for EU/EEA students on vocational and academic courses
If you are 16-18 and a citizen of a country in the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland, you are not required to pay tuition fees. The only fees you may have to pay are for specialist resources and equipment, the cost of these varies from £25 to £300 depending upon the subject you are studying.
If you are 19+, you may be eligible for financial support.

EU nationals living and working in the UK are currently able to enrol on further education courses or take apprenticeships on the same basis as UK citizens. Students must have lived for three years as an ordinary residence in any one of the 28 EU states plus some further countries. Existing education entitlements extend to the EEA (ie the EU plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). For information about how Brexit might affect EU status, please click here.
