The International Foundation Programme (IFP) is a one-year academic programme designed to prepare you for undergraduate study in the UK.

Course aims and areas

The Business programme will help you to acquire knowledge in many specialist subjects such as Law, Marketing, Economics (and more) and also to develop a range of academic skills to enable you to be a successful independent student.

On the course you will be able to increase your self-confidence in your ability to learn and develop academic skills such as essay writing and research skills needed for Higher Education.

You will learn how to put together a professional presentation and ‘present’ to small groups of people, giving you the opportunity to explore your own style, practice and improve, all in a safe, constructive, supportive environment.

Your tutors will help you identify those areas that need improvement and give you the tools you need to develop, so that you are fully equipped to deal with independent study at Higher Education levels.
