International Foundation Programme - Computing

The International Foundation Programme (IFP) is a one-year academic programme designed to prepare you for undergraduate study in the UK.

Course aims and areas

The computing programme gives you the chance to explore the diverse world of computing, ranging from areas such as games development and software to network administration and business analysis.

This programme provides academic preparation for first year entry into university and will enable you to meet the minimum English language requirement for entry to your chosen undergraduate degree programme.

You will study a variety of units including relational database design, programming, hardware and software, networking and mathematics for computing.

On this course you will develop valuable technical and professional skills to prepare you for the challenges of your chosen computing undergraduate degree at university.
