Student designs hit the catwalk at Graduate Fashion Week

Greater Brighton Metropolitan College (MET) Fashion Design students showcased their collections on the catwalk at Graduate Fashion Week recently.

The students presented their end of degree work to an audience comprised of fashion houses, critics, bloggers and trendsetters at the Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane.

Students Sam Kirk and Bryony Fox were both shortlisted for the Superdry Outerwear Award and Student Louise Salter was shortlisted for the Swarovski Accessories Award.

Graduate Fashion Week is one of the world's most important sources of new talent for the global design industry and attracts fashion glitterati from across the globe. This year also saw Nadja Swarovski and Diane von Furstenberg join Victoria Beckham, Christopher Bailey and Vivienne Westwood as lifetime patrons of the event.
