Students raise over £400 for charity

A group of Brighton MET FdA Events students put on an incredibly successful community fundraising event on Saturday 13th May at the Open Market in Brighton, which was brimming with people all day!

Sussex Ecofest, was an opportunity to celebrate and raise awareness about sustainability in Sussex. The event had over 15 local sustainably minded businesses and organisations taking part. The event raised money for Sussex Wildlife Trust, Brighton Peace and Environment Centre and Cranks DIY Bike Workshop. The £402.64 raised was split between the 3 charities.

The students also shared the event space with the Creative Arts Spring Fest, another event run by MET students which hosted fantastic free circus and art workshops, and live music for all the family to enjoy.
