Course type: Part-time professional, International Entry requirements: Good levels of numeracy and literacy. Some experience of word processing and spreadsheet software End qualification: AAT Certificate in Accounting Level 2 Awarding body: AAT Course location: Brighton Metropolitan College, Central Campus Course fees: £999 Assessment: All units are assessed via computer based exams. Results for 3 of the exams will be available usually within 1-2 hours. The results for Using Accounting Software and the Synoptic Assessment will be available around 6 weeks after the exam.

With both classroom based and self-directed learning online, this course provides a flexible approach and allows you to study at your own pace to suit your personal circumstances.

You will explore both manual and computerised book-keeping, as well as management accounting and work skills.

This widely recognised qualification not only will improve your effectiveness in the workplace, but will also provide opportunities for career advancement.

The Software package used in Using Accounting Software is SAGE 50.

Work experience

You must complete a work experience placement as part of the course programme and you are required to arrange the placement yourself (information will be given prior to starting the course).
