Course aims and areas

This course is ideally suited to you if you are beginning your plumbing career.

The diploma provides you with the practical knowledge in areas such as hot and cold water systems and central heating.

The full NVQ diploma requires you to provide work-based evidence so you must be employed in the plumbing industry to achieve the full qualification.

The practical units are delivered, assessed and paid for separately (at a reduced cost for MET students).

Upon successful completion, you can progress to year 2.
