Apply and visit
You can apply to the MET all year round and there are plenty of opportunities to visit over the next few months. Remember you can apply to as many places as you like.
Secure your offer
After you have applied to us we will invite you in for an ‘application review meeting’. This is an opportunity to make sure the course you have applied for is right for you – nothing scary! After this we will offer you a place, which you will need to accept.
January / February
Talk to us
Application review meetings continue for new applicants. Remember you can call Admissions at any point in the year if you have any worries about the course you have applied to or college in general.
Don’t limit your options
Another opportunity this month to visit the college, even if you have applied somewhere else. Keep your options open come GCSE results day. Also come along if you have already applied if you have any questions for the course teams.
Preparation is everything
Exams are approaching, but don’t panic! Get yourself organised with a revision timetable and remember the hard work will be worth it.
May / June
You are likely to be doing your exams this month so good luck! Remember to keep calm and remember that we will be here to support you when you leave school, whatever the outcome. Once they are finished you can enjoy your summer!
Nearly time to enrol
Hopefully the sun is shining and you are enjoying a well-earned break from your studies. We will be in touch this month with information about when and how to enrol on your course.
The results are in
GCSE results day is here. We very much hope you get the grades you want but if you don’t, don’t panic! Call into the Student Centre at our Central campus on Pelham Street. Sometimes it is still possible to start your chosen course if your grades are a bit lower than expected. If not we will help you find an alternative course. You should still come to your enrolment session if you do not get your grades.
Welcome to Brighton MET!
You are now a MET student; this is the start of a new and exciting chapter of your life where you will be able to learn and grow and fulfil your potential. Your start date will be given to you at enrolment or in the post and displayed on the web site. We look forward to meeting you!
