Why this course?

Our industry-experienced staff will teach you hand tool skills, allowing you to form basic woodworking joints and progress onto more complex projects such as small window frames.

We will also cover the principles of building and construction, and health and safety.

This course is part-time, two evenings a week. You will be taught in our specialist carpentry workshops at our East Brighton Campus.

  • You will attend College two evenings a week.
  • Students must bring their own safety footwear, which they will be required to wear while in the workshop.
