Business Management - Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship

Course Type: Apprenticeships Start Date: September 2019 Duration: 18-24 months Entry requirements: Functional Skills may be required dependant on apprenticeship and previous qualifications achieved.

Course aims:

This business management apprenticeship has been developed for managers who wish to gain the skills needed for a move into senior management positions. The training is ideal for those who still retain a responsibility for operational processes but are removed from the day to day responsibilities of first line management.

The training helps to broaden knowledge and behaviours in a flexible and practical way relating to modern leadership and management practices where varied management tasks are required.

Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are available for school leavers and adults (19+), beginning at Level 2 through to degree level.

What levels are available?

Wages

Wages vary depending on the type of apprenticeship but there is a national minimum wage (NMW) in the UK which applies to all 16-18 year olds and to those aged 19 or over in the first year of their studies. From October 2017, this is £3.50 per hour. However, the MET encourages employers to pay at a higher hourly rate.
