Top-up (final year only) Communication Design (Illustration) - BA (Hons) Degree
This course is the final year BA top-up following a two-year Foundation Degree (FdA) or HND course in Illustration.
The course is designed to develop creative thinking and this exciting, multidisciplinary degree programme encourages experimental, collaborative and conceptual work.

Portfolio and normally a Foundation Degree (FdA) or HND in a related subject
The focus will be on the development of the student as an individual, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
The course aims to give the student the opportunity to study across a wide variety of media, processes and disciplines including graphic design, illustration and animation.
Our students are creative, talented and dynamic, with an eye for good design and a willingness to experiment with a variety of media.
The course also incluces a programme of visiting speakers.
In the first semester, the students work on a series of three 5-week competition briefs set by industry. Completed work is sent off for judging.
At the end of the course, students exhibit their work and they have the opportunity for their work to be seen by potential employers.
