This prestigious new qualification has been designed by industry experts and is equivalent to three A Levels. You'll gain the skills, knowledge, and experience to progress into a variety of careers within the Business and IT sector, including:

- Cyber Security
- E-commerce
Upon completing this course you can progress to skilled employment, a related higher-level apprenticeship, or university.
Throughout this course, you will gain the knowledge needed to use technology effectively in the real world, through a mixture of classroom-based learning and an exciting industry placement.

Entry Requirements
This course will require you to have 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 to include English and Maths.
Course content
Across both years you will study core content. These modules include:
- How digital technologies impact business and market environment
- Ethical and moral implications of digital technology
- Data in software design
- Using digital technologies to analyse and solve problems
- Digital environments, including physical, virtual and cloud environments
- Legal and regulatory, privacy and confidentiality of personal data
- Internet security
- Planning digital projects
- Testing software, hardware and data
- Digital tools for project management and collaboration
Progression and careers
Career options might include working in IT solutions or data analysis. Students can progress into roles such as:
- Statistician
- Market researcher
- Data analyst

- Data Analytics for the Gaming Industry

Industry Placement
The T Level will include a minimum of 315 hours of learning on work experience placement. Our Industrial Placement Officers will help you link-up with an employer and complete work experience relevant to your interests.

Course fees
This course is free (you do not have to pay fees) if:
- You are a UK citizen, hold EU Settlement Status or have a visa which could qualify you for home status.
- AND you are under 19 on 31 August in the year you are studying.
More funding options
Unemployed/Benefit Waiver and Level 2 Entitlement
This course is free if you meet the following criteria:
- You may not have to pay any fees if you will be aged 19 or over when you begin this course and:
- You are a UK citizen, hold EU Settlement Status or have a visa which could qualify you for home status.
AND
- You are in receipt of Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA) or Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
- OR you are receiving a means tested benefit, earning less than £345 per month (take home) if you are a sole claimant or £552 a month if you have a joint claim with your partner, and are completing the course to improve your employability
- OR if you are working and earn less than £18,525 per year (gross pay)
- You will need to provide evidence and sign a declaration when you enrol.
