Durrington High School textiles competition

For the careers week at Durrington High School, students were invited to take part in a competition run by our textiles department to design a tote bag. The winning students got to print their designs at the college with the help of textiles tutors.

From all the entries two winners were chosen to have their designs made into tote bags. The winning students were invited into the college in half term to get creative in the textile workshop, using inks and a transfer press to bring their creations to life.

This was the second year the college has run the competition at Durrington High School, forming a great link with the school and its students and teachers.

Congratulations to all involved, especially our winning students!
