MET alumnus tours with hit musical

A Northbrook MET Musical Theatre alumnus has landed a role in the UK tour of West End musical Kinky Boots.

Alfie Parker will appear across the country at more than twenty venues in the award winning musical which features songs by Grammy and Tony winning pop icon Cyndi Lauper.

After graduating from Northbrook MET in 2014, Alfie won a place at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music before appearing as Samuel Byck in Assassins (Pleasance Theatre); Swing in the original London cast of School of Rock; and Tackaberry in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (City of London Festival).

Keryie Vickers, Course Leader for Musical Theatre, said, “We were delighted that Alfie was able to return to the MET and work with our students in the summer term, before heading off to join the UK tour of Kinky Boots. He is an excellent role model – demonstrating how hard work, talent and perseverance can allow you to follow your dreams.”
