Students show star quality

Northbrook MET Hospitality students produced and served a tasting menu to 130 guests at a charity event at Brighton Hilton Metropole on 6 June.

Two teams of Level 3 students produced a three course menu to diners, who then scored each dish individually to determine the winning menu. The food was served by Level 2 Hospitality students. The winning team was led by head chef Saffron Penny and sous chef Jodie Payne.

The grand total of £3287.44 was raised for the Starr Trust which supports young people to fulfill their potential in sports, arts and education.
