Why this course?

As students bring in their own work to read and the variety of writing they experience makes for a stimulating and creative atmosphere. There is also a teaching focus or structured writing task each week.

By the end of the course you will be able to understand the elements necessary in structuring your writing, from the opening through to the climax and conclusion that apply to all forms of modern writing, including poetry and prose, fiction and non-fiction.

Why the MET?

Greater Brighton Metropolitan College (MET) was created from the merger of City College Brighton and Northbrook College. It draws on 150 years of heritage, history and experience. We operate across five campuses in Brighton, Shoreham and Worthing, and teach around 7,500 adult learners.
