Course Type: Adult qualifications and professional Campus: Central Brighton Campus Entry requirements: An interest in web and graphic design. Access to a computer with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver. Assessment: Ongoing assessments on practical projects.

This is an ideal practical course, if you are looking to enhance your career potential in web design and digital media design.

It differs from our shorter courses in web design, offering a more complete and comprehensive practical look at current web design practices, and culminates in you creating an online portfolio to promote the projects created on the course.

Look at logo design, branding and web graphics creation in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and gain knowledge of UI (user interface), UX (user experience) design and various methods for creating web pages including Adobe Dreamweaver and Bootstrap, coding in HTML and CSS.

You will use Wordpress and learn how to make animation, photography and video for the web for websites, instagram and vlogging purposes.  

The course also covers posting and domain names and project management for web design including writing proposals and costing.
