Why this course?
You will learn a range of advanced techniques including composition and subject matter, framing and night-time photography.
The course will also include lessons on colour, black and white photography, rule of thirds, working in the style of a master of photography, location photography, portrait and travel photography.
You will also learn about post-production techniques including metering modes and in camera filters.
All students must have DSLR or camera with a manual setting and have completed Beginners and Intermediate course or equivalent course and knows how to use ISO, Shutter, Aperture settings and White Balance settings.
You will need a DSLR or bridge/mirrorless camera with manual settings and have completed beginner and intermediate courses or equivalent. You also need to know how to use ISO, shutter, aperture settings and white balance settings.
Brighton MET Visual Arts department has an extensive and well-equipped range of practical working environments and art studios.
3D printer, laser cutting machine, large scale ink jet printer, Canon EOS DSLR cameras, Mac animation suite, photographic suite.
Plaster, ceramics and glass workshops, printmaking workshop (screen, lino, metal and dry point etching).
3D wood, metal and plastics workshop including a forge, a pattern cutting room and fashion studios.
The course fees are £197.00 for 10 weeks.
