Explore drawing using a range of drawing media. Basic skills will be covered as well as experimental techniques. This creative course is suitable for all abilities, including complete beginners, and is ideal for building a portfolio of artwork.
The course covers:
- Basic drawing skills using line and tone
- Drawing techniques from traditional to contemporary
- Drawing from observation
- Drawing with pen and ink
- Building a portfolio of artwork
- Art history and artists who use drawing techniques
By the ene of the course you will be able to show that you have practised several different drawing techniques, show that you can plan an image effectively regarding scale and composition, produce at least five pieces of finished work,and assess your progress with the activities at an introductory or intermediate level.
