Why this course?

Develop your sewing skills and learn how to make your own clothes using a commercial pattern. To start, you will be taught how to thread up a sewing machine, and sew a variety of basic and more decorative seams.

The course will then take you through the whole process of making a garment, including adapting patterns to your shape; sewing darts, pleats and seams; inserting zips; stitching hems; and more.

Overlocking machines are also available for your use.

In addition to the cost fees, students will be required to purchase their own material, pattern and sewing sundries.
