Why this course?

Develop your sewing skills and learn how to make your own clothes using a commercial pattern. To start, you will be taught how to thread up a sewing machine, and sew a variety of basic and more decorative seams.
The course will then take you through the whole process of making a garment, including adapting patterns to your shape; sewing darts, pleats and seams; inserting zips; stitching hems; and more.
Overlocking machines are also available for your use.

Course content
New to dressmaking, or just looking to improve?
Develop your sewing skills and learn how to make your own clothes using a commercial pattern. To start, you will be taught how to thread up a sewing machine, and sew a variety of basic and more decorative seams.
