Why this course?

This workshop is suitable for all abilities. Traditional hand embroidery techniques will be learned, with the aim to create your own unique embroidered work. Learn the stitches so that you can leave with the skills to finish your project at home.

A brief history of crewelwork, colour blending and practising the stitches to be used in a dala horse, so that the project can be finished at home.Embroider the stitches you have learned and learn how to make some simple colour blends with thread. You will also have a wider knowledge of crewelwork and the resources to teach yourself further.
