Studying Engineering at Greater Brighton MET gives you a range of practical skills and knowledge which underpin many routes into the Engineering industry. The course provides a foundation of workshop skills and theory which supports your routes into a Level 3 course in Engineering. Continuing your learning can lead to opportunities in Higher Education and a range of Engineering roles within Industry.

You can progress to university courses in a variety of engineering disciplines. Alternatively, you can progress study to our two year Level 3 Engineering course or the part-time HNC in Mechanical Engineering at Northbrook College.

This course is free (you do not have to pay fees) if:

  • You are a UK citizen, hold EU Settlement Status or have a visa which could qualify you for home status.
  • AND you are under 19 on 31 August in the year you are studying.
