Experience
Qualified in Beauty Therapy, Various complementary Therapies & Make up in fashion, Theatre, photography & film.My Professional qualifications were gained through Brighton MET (C&G, VTCT and IHBC) and Brushstroke make up school.
My Teaching Qualifications were gained at Sussex University through Brighton MET
I worked in the Beauty/Make up Industry for over 20 years before I started my teaching career at Brighton MET.
Tyra has had numerous experiences within the makeup industry working for mostly TV including Channel 4, Sky channel, Disney Channel. In the last 10 years Tyra has been teaching at Brighton MET.
Whilst working at the college Tyra has also continued to carry out CPD carrying out bridal make up’s and some work for Channel 4 around her teaching hours.
