International Foundation Programme - Computing

Course Code: INT416 Course Type: International Foundation Programme, Open to international students Campus: Central Brighton Campus Start Date: September 2018 Duration: 1 Year Entry requirements: A minimum English level of B2 IELTS 5.5 (5.5 in writing). Completed 12 years of education and received good results in exams in your chosen subject, equivalent to GCSE Maths grade C. Assessment: Essays, structured questions, group presentations, practical skills and write-up, internal exams, independent research project. Awarding Body: Laser

You will study a variety of units including relational database design, programming, hardware, software, networking and mathematics for computing.

You will obtain good knowledge and technical skills to help you gain employment in the computing industry at a junior level.There is no formal work experience but there will be outside speakers and visits relevant to the course.

On successful completion of this Level 3 course you may wish to continue your studies on the HND Computing course at Brighton MET or any university in the UK.
