Why this course?

In a world ever reliant on the use of computers and software packages, the course aims to provide a solid grounding in Microsoft Office to develop key IT skills, useful for working in an office environment or managing a business from home.

You will learn how to use Word to create documents, posters and mail-merge letters, use Excel to create spreadsheets with formulas and charts and create a PowerPoint presentation.

The course also covers organising files and folders, working with an Access database and using Google Docs and Sheets as an alternative to Microsoft Office.
