Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Barbering
Apprenticeships are a fantastic way to gain a nationally recognised qualification and valuable skills whilst working. We are a major provider of apprenticeships in the South East, helping employers to find the right apprentice for their business or upskill existing employees, and supporting individuals to succeed.
The apprentice will learn, develop and practice the skills required to provide barbering services while working effectively as a junior barber.
Skills will include:
- Client consultation
- Shampooing and conditioning hair
- Basic hair cuts
- Blow-dry and finishing
This course will support you to achieve:
- Cutting Facial Hair to Shape
- Reception Duties
- Promoting Products and Services to Clients
- Conforming to General Health and Safety in the Workplace
- Moving, Handling and Storing Resources in the Workplace
Assessment will be through a range of assessment techniques including work place observations and the production of a portfolio of workplace evidence and knowledge.
Functional Skills may be required dependant on Apprenticeship framework and previous qualifications achieved.
