Our motor vehicle department is one of the highest achieving in the country, so if you’re interested in how cars work and would like a career as a mechanic, Brighton MET offers a friendly, supportive and highly professional environment with a range of courses that cover the technical needs of today’s motor vehicle repair industry.

Our students benefit from learning in in our 11-car workshop, designed to meet the needs of the modern day service technician.The workshop offers MOT standard equipment such as a brake roller tester, rolling road dynamometer, tyre and engine bays, five ramps, modern IT facilities and an external valeting area. You'll be based at Brighton MET East Campus by Wilson Avenue, which has great facilities.

We have excellent industry contacts which mean that we can advise you on employment opportunities and we are very proud that so many of our students go onto develop successful careers in the automotive industry.
