Travel to college – Planned Train Strikes (May)

Travel to college – Planned Train Strikes (Friday 12 May)

Nationwide rail strikes have been called for Friday 12 May which will affect all journeys on Southern Rail services. There will be no rail service on lines which service our local station on Friday 12 May.Next week (Monday 15 to Friday 19 May), an amended timetable with fewer services will be in place due to a ban on overtime. This unfortunately means the students and staff who use the rail network will experience disrupted and cancelled services. The college will be open and operating as usual during this time. If you are due to be in college, please ensure you have made alternative travel plans – particularly if you are due to sit an external exam or assessment.
