Why this course?
This course will increase your knowledge and understanding of common childhood illnesses and enable you to support the development and wellbeing of infants and children who you support and care for.
During this course you will complete three mandatory units:
- Unit 1: Understand how to provide a safe and healthy environment for babies and young children
- Unit 2: Understand common childhood illness
- Unit 3: Understand health emergencies and specific health conditions in an early years setting
This course is free/government funded if you are 19+ at the start of the academic year, you live in England (some regional exclusions apply, including Greater London) and have lived in the UK for the last 3 years. Find out if you are eligible for funding.
