This course is designed for a wide range of learners who wish to gain an understanding of the care and management of diabetes, and is ideal for those working or intending to work in healthcare or social care.

Learners are required to undertake the following units:
- Unit 1 Understanding diabetes
- Unit 2 Preventing and early intervention of Type 2 diabetes
- Unit 3 Understanding the initial care of diabetes
- Unit 4 Understanding the treatment and management of diabetes
You will gain the CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding the Care and Management of Diabetes (QCF 16 Credits).

This course is free if you are 19 years+ and have lived in the UK/EU for 3 years.
