Why this course?

This creative course is suitable for those with some experience. Follow the course projects or explore your own subject matter in a friendly, supportive environment. This course is ideal for personal development and portfolio building.

On this course you will learn: how to use different media; painting and drawing techniques; art history; contemporary art; basic printmaking techniques; individual advice on chosen media; developing your own personal style, and, if appropriate, building a portfolio for interview and advice on professional practice.

For session one - please bring drawing materials - e.g. pencils, charcoal, pens, crayons, paper. A full materials list will be given in week one.
For the course you will need to bring the paint medium of your choice, for example: oil paint, acrylics etc. palette, brushes and supports (Zest-it medium for oils).
