If you are interested in learning more about business, customer service and enterprise then this is the course for you.

Being on a Pathways Level 1 course, you will receive excellent help and support from experienced tutors and teaching assistants. Working in small classes, you will notice that your self-confidence and self-esteem will grow. Level 1 also boosts your social skills and ability to get on with a variety of different people.

Your study programme will also include some supported English and Maths sessions and provide a first step towards gaining qualifications. 

The MET welcome students from all walks of life and has courses specifically designed for those who may need some additional support in their learning.

Pathways courses are for students who, for many reasons, have not gained GCSEs. Perhaps you need to boost your confidence after a challenging time at school or maybe you just need some supported learning to help you on track to achieve your goals. Pathways courses are practical and fun and could be your stepping-stone to success.


Entry requirements

There are no GSCE requirements for these Entry Level courses, but your application will be reviewed for an appropriate level of skills and college readiness. ESOL applicants will require E3 or above.

Every year, students from the Pathways courses in Brighton are selected to go on a life-changing trip to Sri Lanka where they volunteer with a charity working towards improving the lives of local children.
