Why this course?

This two day course will help you to develop your technical skills and provide relaxing massage treatments using basalt stones and a variety of techniques. You will learn how to prepare the body, use a stone heater and how to correctly place the stones.

Stone massage therapy is becoming increasingly popular in all complementary therapy clinics and health spas and is a great way to expand the range of treatments you can offer to your clients.

You will be awarded with a college Continued Professional Development (CPD) certificate, which will allow you to practice, and be insured through the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).

You will develop your knowledge and understanding of health and safety, relevant anatomy and physiology, massage products, communications skills and client care. 

  • Monitor and maintain health and safety in a salon
  • Client care and communication in beauty related industries
  • Apply stone therapy massage

Course fees

The course fees are £160 for a two day workshop. 

Additional costs

You will need to purchase your own stones. A 52 piece basalt stone set can be purchased on Amazon for approximately £5200. A sacrum stone can also be purchased on Amazon for approximately £10
