Prop Making student commissions

Reviews

"I received both items today and wow I am so impressed. The scanner is perfect and the whale intestines have blown me away. Thanks so much to you and your students for doing such a fantastic job and I’m sure we will work together again in the future. With many thanks."

"After a recent visit, I was delighted to see a course providing such a high level of technical support to their students and allowing them to experience a wide range of practical skills used in industry. This is one of the only courses in the UK where the students are involved in live projects and commissions taken on by the dept giving them the skillsets needed for a career in prop/modelmaking."

"I am incredibly impressed with the attention to detail of the props and the way in which they are constructed. They are very hard-wearing, look very professional and realistic and they fit the brief perfectly. The students are very attentive and good to work with and I would be keen to work with the college on many more projects in the future."

"Cryptic Escape is an escape room in Norfolk. We contacted the MET to see if they would be interested in developing and making some props for our proposed new Egyptian theme room. From the offset, they were great, responding to us promptly and highly enthusiastic. We visited the college to initially explain our needs, and they were fully receptive of our ideas, along with their own input and again their great enthusiasm. A plan was set for the students to start on varying props for the new rooms. On our second visit, to display and drop off some electronics for the props, the progress made was huge. The props were looking fantastic and it was great to see all the students buzzing around and working keenly on creating statues, artefacts, puzzles etc. The work provided by the students has been top quality, and we at Cryptic Escape are truly impressed and thankful for all the work put into these. We are looking at developing some new rooms in the near future, and am sure we will use the services at the MET again. I would not hesitate in recommending the college and the students work to anyone. Once again, thanks to everyone at the MET, our new Egyptian theme escape room looks amazing!"

"Once again the students at Greater Brighton (formerly Northbrook) Metropolitan College have excelled themselves - this being the third year in a row that we have commissioned a piece from the college and each year we have been delighted with the results. This year's proton pack project was something different in that it featured four replicated units and electronics for lighting. The results have been pretty spectacular and the response we have had from the public with regards the packs has been brilliant. Whilst two have been passed onto staff members, one will take up residence in store to compliment the brilliant Spiderman and R2-D2 commissions from the previous years. Please send my warmest thanks and admiration to everyone involved with the project. Now to decide what next year’s project should be!"
