Why this course?

Interested in learning how to build a website? Or hoping to develop a professional career as a Frontend Web Developer or Web Designer? Or maybe you have interest in interactive media as a hobby or interest.

On this course you will learn how to build a basic website, covering the use HTML editors, Hosting, domains and setup, understanding and hand coding HTML5, web graphics, style and CSS, interaction and JavaScript, data capture and forms (PHP).

You will follow along and build a pre-designed concept aimed to help you develop the necessary skills to later create your own website. Step by step we will build a class project using all the techniques necessary to create a great modern website.

To save work created, please bring a USB flash drive or external hard drive, or signup to Google Drive/Dropbox.

No prior knowledge is required, although learners must feel confident using a computer (PC or Mac).
